About Bruce Campbell

In the Bahamas

I have been diving for over two decades. My passion is underwater photography. I am a Naui Instructor and have served as a safety diver in Texas and on dives around the world. I shoot a Nikon Z8 in a Nauticam housing with Inon strobes, with focus and video lights and various light modifiers.  Shutterstock  and Adobe are the stock agencies with whom I have worked the most over the years. In the last several years my stock images have sold about 20,000 times worldwide.

Over the years my photography has transitioned to underwater fine art photography.  The primary differenced being most images record an act or event  of marine life.  Fine art photography endeavors to capture the emotion of the subject or scene.  My underwater fine art photography website is: www.campbellphotogallery.  I have recently won the 2025 Ocean Art contest in the Fashion category.  I also received honorable mention on a second image I had entered in that same contest.  That contest is important to underwater photographers world wide as demonstrated by the fact that photographers from 90 countries submitted over 60,000 images for the 2025 contest.  I was pleased that Dive Magazine and USA Today also featured my images.  Recently, Voyage Dallas featured my work in its journal:  https://voyagedallas.com/interview/daily-inspiration-meet-bruce-campbell.
